The Actions pane

Here, we're speaking with Chiang the Strong, who's giving us our first quest: go talk to Unnoirin Cepao, an Explorer who will teach us about how to gather materials in Ryzom. The Actions pane has an interesting toggle button in its bar: Parry/Dodge. During combat, you have the choice of either parrying or dodging an enemy's attack, the success of which is based on your stats. Presumably your choice of race has something to do with this.
