This is the source of all the slaves you see performing menial tasks around the Dark Elf camp. Overseer Rathus will task you with a quest to capture another prisoner for him when you first arrive here. The abduction and imprisonment of an elf will either solidify most players' choice as a Dark Elf or make them reconsider.
