That new and unexpected elements are arriving in World of Warcraft is visible even from the game's world map. Wrath of the Lich King is taking a step beyond the Burning Crusade's compartmentalized gameplay. The continent of Northrend will soon hover at the top of the 'old world' like a cold, relentless vulture, tempting adventurers of the highest levels to explore, quest, and gain the riches of the icy North.
